Still very ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀rough and I continue to use a soft brush. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀✰ Lineart: Clean. I continue to use a soft brush ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀but increase its stability slightly. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀✰ Flat Colors: I use a hard brush and fill in my ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀linework with any flat colors I may need. I ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀tend to make them darker than intended so I ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀can accentuate highlights and build to ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀shadows. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀✰ Color Lineart: I make a clipping layer and ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀color in my line art to make it appear as if ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀there are little to no lines. Because there are ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀no lines in real life, this increases the 3D ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀aspect of your art. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀✰ Shadows: I use a hard brush and an Overlay ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀layer to create shadows. I try to keep in ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀mind where my light source is. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀✰ Highlights: I use a hard brush on a different ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀overlay layer with bright colors that ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀somewhat match the color of my light ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀source. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀✰ Final Details: I go back in with a few layers ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀to finish minor details, such as the light, the ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀snowflake, and the words.
