She longs to go and explore the world, but she has to watch over the balance of nature (ya knowww). So she sent Kaiyo to explore and ordered her to come back in 1 year and report what she had seen. Kaiyo was 10 at the time. She got enrolled in school and worked at a sweet shop to make ends meet (and she was only 10. omg.). She was your typical weirdo (in a good way), but as anyone who goes to school knows, being a weirdo means you have to bear the runt. The meanest of all the bullies, Tsuyoi Tanaka, beat her up on the street one day and (trigger warning) severely damaged her eye. She was rushed to the hospital, and the doctors had to patch her eye up. Luckily, the money she had been earning at the sweet shop was somehow enough to pay her medical bills. (no more triggering stuff) At this point, it was almost the end of her 1 year stay in the outside world, and even though it was sometimes unfair, Kaiyo loved it. She didn't want to return to her mom, so when the day came when she had to leave, she just didn't. Her mom had been expecting her and she was horribly angry, so she kept sending hurricanes towards the city she lived in. Luckily, Kaiyo had enough money to catch a train and head to the next city, which was far from the sea. Her mom is still trying and failing to get her back to this day.....
