Space or arrow keys! (Fullscreen PLEASE!) ___________________ This is a rather large art dump containing artwork from my ipad and two sketchbooks. Digital Art is organized...in a way that is not particularly organized. Traditional is organized chronologically. _______________________ 1. Title Page thingamabob Digital Art: 1. 3 characters I designed together. Their story is NONEXISTENT as of now, but I do rather like them and will likely revisit them in the future. 2. A girl. With green skin. 'Cause why not? 3. *inhales* This one was made a while ago. I think I was watching a movie with my little sis-Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs? I ended up drawing this villain and felt like she needed a ball of black and white magical sparkles in her hand. So...yep. There she is. 4. Experimentation 5. I drew an angler fish YAY! As a person with thalassophobia, I am not going to look that up to make sure it is actually called an angler fish. If it isn't...what's the name of the fish with the light thingy that attracts other fish so it can eat them? 6. Hm. I don't actually like this one much compared to the others. It's older...oh wow I was rather lazy with this background wasn't I? 7. Oooh this one's rather recent. Nothing much to say about it...I enjoyed drawing her and I think she's cute. 8. THE FIRST (and personal favorite) of my ongoing art collection/series/whatever you call it called Reading in the Rain(RITR). I actually attempted a background with this one and it doesn't look half bad. 9. The SECOND of my ongoing art collection/series/whatever you call it known as Reading in the Rain(RITR). 10. The THIRD of my ongoing art collection/series/whatever you call it known as Reading in the Rain(RITR). 11. RATHER RECENT! I drew a black silhouette, decided it looked like a cat, made it a cat, and gave it a simple background. I decided I like this style and it is now the first of an art collection/series/whatever you call it known as...I don't actually have a name for it yet...any ideas? 12. THE SECOND of the art collection/series/whatever you call it with the black and white animals and simple backgrounds. (Please note that this is a tortoise, not a turtle, and I am extremely sensitive to turtle vs tortoise distinction, so PLEASE ensure you remember which this is.) 13. THE THIRD of the art collection/series/whatever you call it with the black and white animals and simple backgrounds. I wanted to do an animal from under the sea, and I suddenly had a vision of a cooking octopus. So I drew that cooking octopus. (It was a nightmare looking up reference photos for octopi. Thalassophobia sucks.) Traditional Art: 1. I dunno, I sketched, linearted, and colored this schoolgirl in a uniform. I did NOT feel like drawing faces, so I utilized the 2020 mandatory accessory-The face mask. 2. I guess I felt like realism that day...if you can call that realism. Then I colored the background in black so it popped and now it looks slightly scary to me. 3. Plans for a comic I made for my older sister's bday. (She loved it :D) PAGE 1! It featured one of my favorite OCs, the Art Critic-an owl who occasionally pops up in my sketchbook pages to criticize by art. <3 4. Page 2 5. I felt like drawing hair. So I spent 20 minutes perfecting this drawing. Then I noticed about a zillion mistakes. Fun times. 6. I drew a face, and I liked the face, so then I drew an upper body, but she looked weird like that, so I gave her a lower body, and then she was a full body and this is a run on sentence that I kind of created on purpose because why not-*inhales*. 7. PEN SKETCHES! Or, not really sketches...more like a zillion pen drawings that I didn't sketch before drawing. One of my favorite pages in my large sketchbook. Please ignore the larger sketch in the bottom right corner. 8. Re-introducing myself to my old art medium-colored pencils. 9. eeeeeeeek. I kind of despise this sketch page, I have no idea why I put it in here. 10. The cardboard back of my large sketchbook broke off, so as I final farewell drawing, I drew on this cardboard. These are the thumbnails and ideas. 11. Finished illustration...Something was odd about the glasses so I kept layering and layering until I finally ruined them. She's very creepy and I cannot stare at her for longer than a second before feeling like I'm going to die. 12. She's...a girl. And...she's sitting. And...she's in grayscale. I like her, there's just not a whole lot to say about her. 13. Self-Explanatory. 14. Another drawing I like that there isn't a ton to say about. 15. And another one. 16. Now THESE are pen sketches. 17. AH HA! Okay, so usually when I draw, I'm drawing with my little sister. She has a 64 crayon set. And one day, I asked her if I could use them too. So I took out three crayons and made a quick doodle and remembered how fun it is to draw with crayons. I usually do this now to warm up before actually drawing. (Continued in Notes and Credits)
18. More crayon stuff. Left one failed. Right one is a cavewoman grandma. And I totally intended for her to look like a cavewoman grandma. I definitely wasn't just trying to give her a polka-dot dress. No sir, this was INTENTIONAL. 19. More crayon stuff 20. Mhm, more crayon stuff 21. My little sister was watching Tangled: The Series-Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure? So I doodled Cass. 22. More crayon stuff 23. More crayon stuff-no, I'm not obsessed, what are you talking about? 24. One crayon stuff and one non-crayon stuff. 25. Sketch, linearted and colored, random sketch in bottom right corner. I want those pants. 26. Sketches...I like these ones. 27. ehehehe more crayon stuff 28. Would you look at that, more crayon stuff + a sketch + a girl in the corner with an abnormally large nose! 29. I really wanted to draw a sweater like that for some reason... 30. I was going to do a three marker challenge, so I swatched the colors. And then I thought they looked like eyes. So this little fella was born, and I LIKE HIM A LOT! I don't have a story for him, but I have this niggling feeling he's just pretending to be scary and is actually very sweet. 31. Three marker challenge-I got these colors and envisioned a huge hoodie with giant stripes. 32. Not much to say about this...I was going to do a three-marker challenge but I liked the sketches too much to lineart and color them. 33. Another drawing 34. The farewell sketch to my smaller sketchbook and the end of the Art Dump! _________ All art by me The little coding there is by me Font from https://lingojam.com/FancyLetters
