I now present to you, Murder Mystery 2. (say that out loud it rhymes lol) Ready to play some more games of Murder Mystery with your friends and family? I know I am. The tutorial is in the game if you don't know how to play Murder Mystery, or Mafia. (I have a friend who doesn't seem to get that the two names can be used interchangeably.) You'll notice this game plays the exact same as MM1. While the gameplay is the same, there are a few things I changed up to make the original one better. That's why you'll notice that this is very similar to MM1, but there are some noticeable differences. The reason why most everything looks the same is because I literally took MM1 and moved it over to a new project, so that I could make changes without affecting the original. What's new in this game? Well, for one, there's an Update Log, so I don't have to log each update in the description. Go check it out; it'll answer the question I just asked. If you want, you can go play the original here: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/470370953 Wow. 20 roles? This is likely the largest Murder Mystery game on Scratch. I'm very proud of what I've created. Great news! Murder Mystery now has a FANDOM wiki: https://murder-mystery-scratch.fandom.com/wiki/Murder_Mystery_Wiki Sadly, I've decided to discontinue this game, which means I'm not providing any more updates. As much as I'd like to keep going on and on until we hit 50 roles, updating this game is really distracting me from making other content. (Although as of April 6, 2022, I have added a small update which makes the game completely mobile-friendly. I don't think it works very well, though.) Q/A: Q: What will happen to the game? A: The game is discontinued, not unshared. It will always be here for you to play, but there won't be any more roles added. Q: I had a suggestion I wanted to make. A: You could remix the project and add your own roles! It's quite a complicated and tedious process though. Q: I found a bug! A: Tell me in the comments. While I won't update the game, I will do a bugfix if I find one. Q: I'm sad. A: I'm kinda sad too. This game has been one of my favorite projects since MM1 released in January. But this game will always be up for you to play, and I'll still be making other games. This was a fun journey. I loved the game while playing it, and hated the game while updating it. Like I said, it's tedious. Have fun with the final version of Murder Mystery! Peace out.
