Space/Click to see the ref and scroll down for a question/poll thingy :> Hello! Happy pride month + summer :D Here's my monthly drawing for June! There's a bit of the drawing below showing through though so you can just ignore that lol Uhh the main problems I have with this is that there isn't enough contrast but other than that I'm pretty happy with it not much to say :P Question thingy: I was thinking: I'm getting a bit tired of trying to replicate the picture exactly so I was think I still want to do monthly drawings but I'd like to learn a different art skill! Soo ig what do you think I should try to do next? 1. Work on stylizing in pencil. - I would base basically everything off of the reference picture but I wouldn't focus on recreating it exactly instead I would focus on adding my own style to what I'm drawing. (this would change what I'm currently doing the least) Votes: 1 2. Using Pen/Line Art. - This would mean I would draw a sketch in pencil and then ink it with black pens maybe adding a bit of shading with ink but focusing on finding the shapes and lines of the piece. On the other hand it might be better for me to learn watercolors by doing landscapes and work up to human forms in which case I probably wouldn't do it for this year's monthly drawing.
