dear scott cawthon, one day in 2014, 2015, or maybe even 2016, i was on youtube, browsing some videos on one of my favorite youtuber’s channels. a video caught my eye. it was about a game called “five nights at freddy’s”. it had a cool thumbnail and title (i think, i don’t exactly remember it that well) so i clicked on it. little did i know that video would change my life. that video began my love for video games, my love for horror, and my love for the fnaf series. i rapidly made fnaf fanart, watched fnaf youtube videos, theories. i also bought the funko mystery minis, plushies, and figures. i was obsessed with the game. i started getting a bit disconnected with the series when fnaf vr came out, but i guess i should give it one more try. honestly, this franchise changed my life. it was a key part in making me who i am today. so, #thankyouscott . you will never be forgotten.
