Sooooo this is my old storry thingamabob, hehe I wrote this a few years ago and it's also veeeeeryyyy cringey. So I wanted to start this "series" called The Story Untold and I will add all my stories/fanfics that I wrote before I joined Scratch! So this is only Chapter One and I dunno if I should share Chapter Two, should I? Also this is EXACTLY how I wrote it in my journal and I didn't bother with grammar xP Also if you can't read it because Scratch made the quality so p i x e l y, here it is: Ariana Armor, a ten year old girl with wavy, soft black hair and pulverizing hazelnut eyes was standing in front of a sign that read "Aunty May's Strawberry Orchard". She had been waiting to come here since she was two! Not for the strawberries, Ariana hated strawberries, but for the magical portal that would take her to the school of her dreams--Techgic. A school- well it was more of a boarding school- only for magical kids like her. Not in a bad way, but in a good way! Techgic was a school that used and taught technology that you couldn't even dream of! That wasn't all, Techgic also taught magic, not like abracadabra, I'm gonna turn you into a frog, mwa-ha-ha-ha! Not like magic you see at magic shows! REAL magic! Ariana couldn't wait, this was her first year out of five years at Techgic- and couldn't wait to meet new friends and learn magic! Ariana's parents began walking over to the cherry red barn, Ariana at their heels. Inside the barn there were barrels and barrels of strawberries filling the barn with a sweetish, sourish aroma. Ariana had to hold her breath. She was VERY sensitive to strong smells and felt like puking to the smell of strawberries. She used to love strawberries when she was little before the incident. When she was around three she used to LOVE strawberries and gladly eat a barrel full a day! She remembered on a very hot summer day she bit into a bright red strawberry to find a black crumpled THING sticking out, which turned out to be a dead worm. Ariana had spit it out the bite she had taken and ran toward her parents, vowing to never eat a strawberry again. Her father went over to the bright yellow countertop that blinded Ariana's eyes and tapped it three times. Nothing happened. "Is something supposed to happen?" Ariana asked, her voice squeaky from holding her breath. Ariana finally gave up holding her breath. Instantly the sourish, sweetish scent filling the room made Ariana stick her tongue out in disgust. Finally, after her dad tapped the countertop three times again, an old plump, wrinkly lady with a baby blue dress with a large frilly white collar that looked like it dated back to the Renaissance appeared at the countertop muttering something like: "I'm coming, I'm coming!" and "I'm too old for this job,". Then in a very false, cheery voice, she said: "Welcome to Aunty Mary's Strawberry Orchard, also the first portal to Techgic University of Technology and Magic." Ariana couldn't catch up with her, she was going too fast! But she had caught that the old lady said this was the first portal. Her parents had never mentioned that there was more than one portal. "Names," asked the lady. Ariana's mother stepped up and repeated all three of their names to the old lady. The lady typed something into a computer. Then she gave Ariana and her parents a badge that read their names and a unique barcode. The old lady led them outside and pointed to a meadow where there was a single oak tree. Ariana wondered what was so important and followed her parents to the mysterious meadow with a single tree. Her mom guided her to the tree which was humongous compared to the other trees Ariana had seen in her lifetime. A gnome with pointy ears and a potbelly with a little barcode scanner in his hands urged them to kneel so the three feet gnome could scan their badges. "What's with all the security?" Ariana asked the gnome. "Well about two years ago, there was only one portal- this one and all you had to do was to lean against the tree and BOOM you fall into the magical wormhole.: he said, Ariana knew about the wormhole- it would take all the students to Techgic. Techgic was located under the Mediterranean Ocean for the safety of the students and the wormhole was the only vehicles that could reach Techgic. The gnome continued to tell his story, "A man came to this eadoe and leabed against the tree making him tumble downto the wormhole. Oh, so much work for the police and the Departmemnt of Technology and Magic. So that's why they have two portals." "Okay, so what do we have to do to get to the second portal?" Ariana asked the gnome. "Just lean against the tree and you'll reach the second portal," the gnome replied. "Oh by the way the name's Gnomy Romy," "Thanks . . . Gnomy . . . Romy?" Ariana said, stifling a giggle. I mean, who names their child Gnomy Romy!?! Ariana and her parents leaned against the oak tree. "I remember doing this when I was ten," her dad said, laughing.
Continued: Suddenly, her feet couldn't feel the ground and she fell into a tunnel down, down and down. She fell and looked up to see a huge boulder thrice the size of her standing in the middle of an abandoned garden. "What are we doing here?" asked Ariana. "Well, the boulder is our next portal," her mom replied. "What? How? Why?" Ariana asked, bewildered how the boulder could be a portal. "You'll see," her dad said, he advanced over to the boulder, knelt down and plucked a white flower. Ariana had never seen the flower before and predicted it was a rare hybrid. Instantly, the white flower turned into a sparkling white key. Ariana stared at her dad and the flower in amazement. "Kecchaus, a very rare plant that can turn into a key . . . that can open any door," her dad said, grinning. He went over to the boulder and pressed the key to the solid rock. Then a slot appeared and her dad inserted the key into it . A door appeared leading to the darkness but before they could step inside the key turned back into the white plant it originally was. "Here," said Ariana's dad, putting the Kecchaus into her hand, "You can keep this but only use it in the time of need, You have three chances with this so use it only when you need it- for a good reason," "Thank you so much, dad!" Ariana said in excitement. She couldn't wait to use it- of course when she really needed it. Ariana's dad urged Ariana and her mom into the misty darkness. Reluctantly, Ariana stepped into the darkness with her parents. Nothing happened. Suddenly, it felt like something had pulled Ariana's leg, it became very hot then very cold and then she felt like she was underwater and the water couldn't decide it's temperature between very hot and freezing cold! The End . . . Of Chapter One: The Portals WHY DID I WRITE THIS WHY
