Okay so I have been surfing on scratch and I have come across THOUSANDS (millions actually) of scratchers who are thinking of leaving, including my bff @-doodling- :( and @magic_projects (she is gonna leave). All these scratchers wanna leave mainly cuz of the following reasons: 1. Scratch is toxic 2. Bullying 3. They have no purpose 4. Losing motivation 5. Someone hurt them 6. Fame-ness I h@te this :( Let me explain these things further. 1. Toxicness YES scratch is becoming toxic (see my project https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/539978381/ for more info). There ae many bullies around and mean people. They hurt people. But this is NO reason to leave! Just ignore and report the comments, ST will take care. 2. Bullying So.. yes, people ARE bullying. They steal, and other not fair/bad stuff. THIS IS STILL NO REASON TO LEAVE! Steps: Report --- ST --- Gone 3. No purpose UGH. Everyone has a purpose! If you are a friend, you have the purpose of being there for your friend. If you are an animator/game maker, you might be on the verge of becoming famous like @mallo222! If you are a scratcher like @hru or @there then your purpose is giving others a laugh! 4. Losing motivation srsly ;-; if you are losing motivation, just idk try to get some! if others are still liking your projects then why are you losing motivation? for me, I shared many projects and NO ONE viewed them but I had followers. They are NOT true followers but- omg I asked if people like my content and they said they do! DONT LEAVE BCZ OF THIS ;-; 5. Someone hurt them This is the MOST- I mean- This reason is mainly the reason scratchers leave. I mean, come on! They hurt you, again report and forget about it! 6. Fame-ness There are so many scratchers who leave cuz their projects don't get any views, likes or they don't get followers. COME ON IF YOU HAVE GOOD CONTENT YOU WILL GET VIEWS and scratch isn't about views. I think we all need to be reminded that scratch isn't about fame, it's about coding and fun! Our scratch, it has changed.. Scratch is- I mean Scratch's motto is Imagine, Program, Share. Okay so that's the end. But I have 1 more thing to say. Actually 2.
