I've seen many posts about this topic on Youtube, Deviantart and other platforms lately. I decided that I should make a post about this just to say my thoughts and what I think about this whole thing. I'm pretty disappointed that the FNaF games will no longer be made by Scott, and that he will no longer be controling the future games in the franchise. Although I've just got into FNaF recently around a few months ago, FNaF has already made such an impact on my life and I enjoyed every second of it. I'm disappointed by Scott's choices in who he had donated to in elections, but no matter who he voted to or gave money to, he didn't deserve all of those messages from hate ful people about saying they're going to hurt his family and other terrible things. Scott Cawthon is a real person, and I know he isn't anti - LGTBQ+ or racist. This part really gets me emotional, but people on Youtube, like Dawko were getting messages as well. I will continue playing the games and supporting the franchise because I know that he really supports that fans and he's a good person at heart. I will always support people no matter their sexuality, gender identity, gender expression, or race, and although I don't agree with the choices Scott made nobody deserves all of the hate that he got, and I feel like if he hadn't gotten all of that hate he wouldn't have retired. FNaF has made such a big impact on so many content creators' lives, and people like Dawko, Markiplier, and MatPat (game theorists) probably wouldn't be here today without this game. FNaF has brought out the talent in so many people, who make SFMs like the one I have here, drawings, Fangames like The Joy of Creation, and artists like TryhardNinja. Scott has inspired me to become a game developer when I get older and to think outside the box. This news breaks my heart. I am pro LGBTQ+ and I may even be LGBTQ myself, and I'm not saying what Scott did is ok, and but I just hope him and his family are ok and that things will return to normal soon. FNaF is not over, Scott just isn't controlling the franchise like he did before. Just remember that you are valid, your opinion is valid, and things should never go this far with hatred.
