(click the moth cat to go through the images) So... I created a challenge! It's called the cute moth challenge! Moths in general are pretty cute, but moth cats are even cuter... At least in a drawing scence.... So we made moth cats based off actual moths! Instead of a generalized version of the common house moth or a Luna moth.... This challenge helps educate people on more moth species, and how amazing moths are. The moth cat that I made is based off the Cecropia moth. I originally chose it because of it's bright red colors. It is a member of the giant silk moth family, and their wingspans are 5 to 7 inches long. This moth is also found in the Rocky Mountains of the United States and in places in Canada, if you live in these areas you may find them! So how do you partake in this challenge? Welp... Just do it! Wait no... It's not that simple... Here's a step by step you can do! •figure out which moth you'd like to make a cute cat moth on. Read a few articles if you'd like to look into them more. (shouldn't take you too long, if it's not your thing) •either use a base I made (found in this project) or make your own line art. Then design your cute moth. And finally... •remix this project That's it! :)
