This is a very easy, simple, and effective way to get more fonts onto Scratch! ✪ In my opinion, the fonts on Scratch are pretty limited. You have 6 fonts, plus outline, which isn't much. But have you seen all those fonts on Google Docs/Drive/Slides etc? There's so MANY! Most people also don't know about Google Drawings (drawings.google.com) but that's how I get most of my fonts :) ✪ This is a step-by-step tutorial showing how to upload fonts onto Scratch from Google Drawings! ✪ Credits: - My iPad for dealing with Scratch :// (ye I did IT ALL on here how-?) - My iPad for taking those screenshots nun - Smooth glide by idk who edited by me - Google - Music: Happy Dreams - Yours truly for everything else ;) ✪ FAQ: Q: Why not use a text generator? A: It doesn’t convert to SVE, and it has less options Q: Can you reshape the text? A: Yes, using the reshape tool in the SVE Q: Can you create your own fonts? A: As far as I know, you can’t, yet Q: Can’t I just use the Scratch text options? A: You can, but this gives you more options Q: What if I don’t have a Google account? A: If you make a gmail, you can sign up for free Q: Can you do this with Google Docs, Slides, etc? A: Not as far as I am aware of at the moment Q: Can I take a screenshot instead? A: You can, but it won’t convert to SVE and it will not be reshapeable or transparent Q: Can I use PowerPoint? A: I’m not sure, I’ve never tried, but you can try! :D Q: Why is is SVE not SVG? A: SVG stands for Scalable Vector Graphics, and SVG converts into SVE (Scratch Vector Editor) when you upload the file :) Q: Can’t I just copy&paste? A: Nope, Google Drawings doesn’t work like that, it has a font of a text replacement, therefore when you copy&paste it shows what you wrote, not the font. If you want to copy&paste, use a text generator :) ✪ Tagz: #tutorials #music Bye! Flay Out
