Background info: You have been arrested for a big crime, but there's not enough evidence to convict. You and your partner in crime have been put in two different rooms and you will be questioned. If you decide to betray your partner and tell the police, and your partner stays silent you get to be free, your partner getting a 10 year sentence and vice versa. If you choose to stay silent and your partner also does, you get charged for a crime worth a 10 month sentence. And if you both betray, you both get a 5 year sentence. Now, you might think you want to stay silent because your partner will also and you'll only get a 10 month sentence, but what if your partner betrays? And what if you want to betray because maybe you'll go free, but what if your partner betrays also? A 5 year sentence is bad. This is a thinking game.
