Sneak-Peak of the soon-to-be-chapters! -- A thunderous voice laughed, the noise echoing across the walls while Valerie and Aubree struggled against their bonds. ‘You ask how we were captured by the Neverseen? Blame Valerie.’ Aubree though, growling. ‘If she hadn’t made me come with her to Alantis, we wouldn’t be HERE!’ She took a deep breath, gathering all her metal energy into one giant ball. Aubree remembered her mother’s words, ‘Don’t stress about it. When you need it, find every emotion, every memory, every thought that makes up who you are, and you’ll be ready.’ ‘WELL,’ she thought, once more annoyed. ‘I wouldn’t BE HERE, doing THIS if VALERIE hadn’t insisted.’ She pulled Every. Single. Individual emotion from this moment, and shoved it out her head, sending a metal way out. She found the thoughts of their capture, and shoved her metal energy at them while they were distracted, slipping easily through their mental blocking. When she was in, the first thought she heard was ‘Boss is going to be so mad.’ She shoved deeper, searching for names and events until she found something… interesting. The name she found was Lady Jane. She was with the Neverseen.
