So... Violet... Is she a good mom? Short answer... No. Long answer... It's complicated... she was a good mom... but soon after loosing Remmy she became really upset with herself, and a wolf named Quilby. Quilby is Dusk, Ivy, and Remmy's father, and used to be Violet's mate/husband. He was supposed to take care of Ivy and Remmy while Violet taught Dusk how to fish because she thought he was ready, but when Quilby wasn't looking, Ivy, Remmy, and Mesa ran away to play in the woods. (there are like apprentices... like warrior cats, but I haven't shown that alot yet because Ivy and Dusk are older then that time slot..) They had a falling out and Quilby faded into the other members of the pack (West Pack). He's still alive, but he lost his leg in an accident were Wisteria had to amputate it, so he doesn't get around much; Ivy still visits Quilby, but he doesn't believe her that Remmy's still alive. (Remember Wisteria?? XD) then, When Remmy was "gone" Violet became really upset at Ivy aswell because in her mind she convinced herself that Ivy was at fault too, the next scene is kinda what we see in the dream sequence... Violet attacked and then disowned Ivy. Yup.. And Dusk only misses Violet when she's gone because she was ok to him, but he knows what she did to Ivy was wrong. Violet actually wanted to reconnect with Ivy, and she sorta did... as you may know, Dusk's power is he can change his fur color to anyone who is not in the current space, so when Violet wanted to care about Ivy again, Dusk would impersonate her to get washed with his mother's love, you know because when ppl wanna make up for bad stuff they did... they often put everything they got into it... Violet died thinking she reconnected with Ivy... but she didn't.. Out of 5 stars, I give her parenting skills 1 and a half stars
