Early reviews state this clearly, and without hesitation. However, about 1 to 2 years into production, it was realised that the Scoppio was a rust bucket, much like any other Brandt up till about 2015. The sills, the wings, the bonnet, the boot... anywhere where rust could creep in, it did. Luckily, Brandt are fond of giving out warranties so most were covered and fixed before they got any worse. A lot weren't though, and it's become a rare sight on the roads, moreso after scrappage schemes which put many of them down. The Scoppio was phased out in around 2004, the last ones being on 53 plates. At this point you could only get the LE Prestigio and GL Prestigio, since the successor was already in production by about a year. Rust free ones sell for good money nowadays, the earlier, more expensive ones going for around £3,500! Brandt still stocks parts for them too, so as long as yours isn't rusty, it should keep on going for many years to come.
Thank you to @JacobSturnandOliviaBobbetta for making the original Scoppio, and for shading this car. It caused physical pain whilst making liveries but at least it looks jazzy. Another thank you to Hugo too since he gave me ideas for a few of the trims, and he is specifically not satisfied customer either. - Music is: Push the Feeling On by the Nightcrawlers - Use the arrow keys or click the car to see all the trims and colours. - About a month in the making, the Scoppio is finally done. It was genuinely hard to draw. And I need to do it again for the Ziggy... Oh dear. I wanted other people to finish this for me as it made me lose all excitement in drawing. Anyway, at least I'm pleased with the final result, I hope you are too.
