– ♦ °.・SaC FAQ - what is SaC? SaC stands for Scratch Aesthetic Camp, an online camp hosted on Scratch, created by @qhostsonq. the first and current hosts are @sb17blu, @imagic64, and of course, @qhostsonq! SaC is based on the popular Scratch camp, Scratch Writing Camp (SWC), created by @candylanguagegirl. SWC also has a similar aspect, with points and cabins, as well as workshops and more! - what is a main cabin? a main cabin is a place where all cabin members can meet and interact, as well as a place where the leaders and hosts can add cabin points when members of SaC do the dailies and weeklies. - how do i gain points for my cabin? you can get main cabin points by doing the daily and weekly activities (read below), as well as making aesthetics, which will be counted at the end for your cabin. - how do i gain points? you can gain points for yourself by making aesthetics! aesthetic sets made here on scratch and aesthetic collages both count for points, if you had that question in mind :) - what is a main cabin? a main cabin is a place where all cabin members can meet and interact, as well as a place where the leaders and hosts can add cabin points when members of SaC do the dailies and weeklies. - when are camper signups? around the start of july :) - what are cabins? cabins are individual studios where certain members can meet. cabins also have themes, i.e. pastel, or say…minimalistic. these make up the different aspects of SaC, and they also compete to gain the most points in the main cabin! with friendly competitiveness, all cabins also have allies, neutrals, and enemies for cabin wars (see the section below). - what are cabin wars? cabin wars are a friendly competition that happens once or twice a month in SaC, and cabins compete to complete tasks that enemy cabins "drop". there are specific tasks, either for the whole cabin or for several campers to complete. if the cabin completes the task, then they get to gain or keep their points! if they lose, though, the cabin suffers and loses a certain amount of points. if the cabin is an enemy of another, the whole cabin or campers can choose to attack (with permission from a cabin leader) their enemy. but after being attacked, the cabin will have a 2-hour "shield" that prevents the cabin from being attacked again. so before attacking, ask a (co)leader and check if the cabin has a shield! - what are in-cabin points? in-cabin points are special and unique to each cabin. for doing a certain task, the campers of the cabin gain points, but not for the whole cabin: for themselves! usually, the 3 campers with the most in-cabin points get a prize from their leaders. - what are daily and weekly activities? as explained in the main cabin, daily and weekly activities help your cabin gain points, and maybe even win over your enemies! (co)leaders will urge campers to complete these tasks, as they can get in-cabin and whole cabin points. these SaC activities can be about certain sets or themes in aesthetics, or even tips about them! - what are workshops? workshops are an extra and optional activity that you can highly benefit from. our leaders and some special guests have created projects in which some information and tips about their assigned topic. if you'd like to improve on that very topic, the workshop can help you! workshops do not give any extra points unless they are a part of a weekly or daily. - what's a hangout? a hangout is where you and other campers mainly from your cabin (or a group of allies/neutrals) can meet, and esentially hangout. there's also usually activities related to the camp! - who're the leaders? the current leaders for august 2021 are: cottagecore - magic () and jean () pastel - elli () and blu () cozy - julie () and scar () minimalistic - mini () and v (/, previously ) neon - rainy () and vivi ) - why do we need allies/neutrals/enemies? and what if they're my friends? in cabin wars, you cannot attack allies. to "betray" a neutral, you can also attack them (ESPECIALLY with a cabin leader's permission!!) if you've already attacked your enemies. and since it's just a friendly banter, don't worry about offending your friend! but please keep it mostly not offencive. if so, use tone indecators! see this project for more about tone indecation: - questions? you can comment below!
