I made some picrews of me, tap anything to go through them. One of them is a haikyuu version of me, and I did not mean for it to look so much like Oikawa, lol. Let's talk in the comments! Ask me any questions! Answer some of these questions yourself if you want! My 51 questions was too long so this is a part 1
Q1: What can I call you, and what are your pronouns/gender/sexuality? A1: You can call me Maple, Maple-Tea, Jess. I use She/her/hers pronouns. I identify as a female, woman, girl, y’know. I identify as hetrosexual. Q2: How old are you? A2: I rather not share the exact age, but I'm in middle school. Q3: What are your interests? A3: A lot of stuff. Mythology, history, literature, linguistics, a lot of other random stuff. Q4: Favorite book? A4: I really liked “The Song of Achilles“ by Madeline Miller. I really like the "Fence!" series a lot too. Q5: Favorite Tv show/movie A5: Uh, I really liked “Banana Fish” and “S*3*x Education”, among many others. That’s a hard question because so many tv shows come to mind, and not a lot of movies do. Um, for movies, I liked “Handsome Devil” a lot? "The Platform” comes to mind. I like "Coraline", and "Corpse Bride". Q6: What’s your ethnicity? A6: My mum’s from Brazil. My dad’s family was from Poland, Lithuania, that area. They were Jewish. I have sort of a struggle with my Jewish identity. I worry sometimes I’m not Jewish enough, but I do identify myself as Jewish. Anyway, short answer: Jewish-Brazilian. Q7: Are you religious? A7: I went to a Jewish-religous school for most of my life. Didn’t really fit. I think I believe in a God or a sort, I guess. I do find religion very fascinating. I like to discuss religion, so if you wanna talk I’m always up to the challenge, lol. Q8: Do you have any oc’s? If so, what are they like? A8: Oh, boy, yes I do. I would say I have 5 main oc’s I focus on. But, only two are really developed. I have Simon, who's sort of cynical, but I love him. He was involved in some Murder Mystery writting I was doing. That’s the only reason he probably got so developed. I dropped the Muder Mystery, but I still think about him. My other super developed oc is Kito. As you can tell by the name, he lives in a fantasy setting. He’s this fire elf thing. A cool fact about him is he thinks in really abrasive language. Like, when he thinks he thinks with lots of swears, and no shame. But since he grew up in a high society, he speaks in a very refined, posh way. Which causes a high contrast between thought dialogue, and speaking dialogue. It’s very fun to write this. Sorry I wrote so much about this, I don’t really get to gush about it a lot. Ask me questions about any of my oc’s and I'll answer! I’ll probably make a project about them another time, lol. Q9: What’s some of your pet peeves? A9: When people mix up there/their/they’re, to/too/two, and the sort. I mess up my “there’s” sometimes too, so I don’t mind that too much, but c’mon. You should know the difference between too and to. I also hate it when people have to make everything political. I probably have other pet peeves, but I can’t think of anything right now. Q10: Do you like writing/drawing? A10: I love to write and draw. My drawing isn’t that good, the drawing genes went to my brother (he’s , go follow him!) but I like experimenting with exaggerated positions, posture, and portions. With my writing I like to experiment with odd perspectives. Unreliable narrators, cynical narrators, perspectives that aren’t talked about a lot. A tip for writing from me btw: if you’re having trouble starting something, write an obscure, straight forward sentence. It grabs the reader's attention, and I think it’s just fun. For example, consider: “Ann Cathy drank lots of coffee and died last year, funny that?” Q11: Any pets? A11: I have three family dogs, Lola, Micky, and Suzy. I have a cat who’s sort of my own, named Otis. I love him very much, and I named him after the S*3*x Education character. Otis has Old German and Old English origins. It means “wealth”. edit: suzy has died :( Q12: Do you have any idea how scratch and/or coding works? A12: Ha, no. I joined scratch because both my siblings use it. I use it more for socializing than coding. Q13: Tell us about your family? A13: I have really old parents so I have many older siblings. Like a full grown adult. 3 older brothers, 2 older sisters, and 1 older sibling. All are older than 30. I’m a triplet, and I was born first, so technically the oldest of us three. My parents are divorced, and all of my family are a bit off. I love them anyway. (also my sister is go follow her, and my brother if you haven’t!) Q14: How do your oc’s reflect you? A14: My 2 main oc’s that I mentioned earlier are both a tad sarcastic. They have a cold exterior, but are a bunch of softies. I’m a bit like that I guess. Q15: A phrase you use online a lot, but never in real life? A15: Never, ever, have I said “lol” out loud. In fact, I only use it on scratch. I don’t use it in emails, or other things.
