FOUR - A Solstice Writing Competition Entry Before y'all say anything, this is not Chapter Four of a story - it's a potential prologue, but I may not use it, and if I do, it will be very different from this draft and in the far future. Another disclaimer, this does not in any way relate to varying religious beliefs, it is only a story, a legend, really. That being said, this was such a fun story to write, mainly because I don't often do myth-type things like this. I had a very different plan for this, but the words kind of just carried me down an incredibly different path and, basically, I just rolled with it and ended up liking how it turned out. Goodness, it's currently 9:17 at night and this is due at 11:59; true, it wasn't completely last-minute, but I'm glad I got it done in time :) Thanks goes to @skybelle for hosting this summer solstice writing contest!! I'll be honest and say I never would have buckled down and finished this piece if not for the circumstances -_- All writing, art, and coding by me, @ziema (backdrop hastily thrown together on Autodesk Sketchbook haha) (It's 1269 words, btw, 7 slides in total, not counting the title. Shorter than I would have liked, but whatever :P) #writing #contest #four #elements #legend #myth #solstice
