Hi anyone reading this! I just wanted to say something really quickly. One of my friends (@KeikoDraws) has been compared to Ombra a lot recently, as the person saying it you might think of it as a compliment, saying that his art is as good as Ombra’s, but to Ollie (@KeikoDraws) it really puts him down. He sees his art and code as a ‘rip off of Ombra’ and it hurts him. If you could refrain from doing this it would mean a lot to both him and me. As I said before you might think it’s a compliment, but everyone’s art style is unique and amazing in their own perfect ways, and as someone reading comments like: ‘oh wow your character reminds me of ___’ or ‘woah your art is exactly like ____’. This sort of stuff can really put you down. All of this also applies to coding. It may seem like a compliment, but it can be really hurtful. Please make sure that what you are saying will not hurt anyone. As well as if you see the person telling you or others to stop comparing, make sure you respect what they are saying, because they almost always have a good reason for it. When this stuff gets to the point of others accusing people of theft, is the point where it is taken way too far. It may seem like they have stolen code or art, but they haven’t. It makes the person feel terrible about what they have made and truly makes them feel like a thief when they aren’t. Be very very careful when accusing someone of theft, and please contact the person you think they are stealing from. I have watched Ollie code a bunch of Original Code Memes and none of them have anything stolen from them. It may seem like he has because it looks exactly like someone else's _____meme, but check to see if it was inspired by something, because that does happen, and may cause confusion. Nonetheless, know your facts before pointing fingers. Thank you for reading this far, I hope you have taken this to heart and really thought about how your actions can impact others. ~Shadow
