On Netflix there is a kids series It's called Rainbow High There's only 1 episode and it's 40 minutes long Not something I thought I would enjoy but the preview was so bad that I had to watch it To start: I love the art direction I am pretty sure it is based on a toy, though I am not sure which I have no idea what the original toy looks like, but it seems like the proportions, textures, and general art style were staying similar to it which is nice The animation is very bad though Nothing looks natural, it looks like the animators had a week of experience with 3D Flash I imagine the animation will improve as the series goes on tho With a name like Rainbow High this is exactly what you can expect, I assume you can also guess the target demographic I may just be too young but oml I have NEVER seen corporate try so hard to pander to children The way everybody talks is so,,,, Bad,,,, I don't like calling things cringe but this is the only way I can think to describe it There is about 1 single character in this show who is actually bearable I understand wanting to seem cool to your audience, but I feel as if this is far too much, even for 9-12 year old girls
