So Amelie looked after her brother most of the time and was always there for him when their parents couldn’t be. It was a lot of pressure on her at just 12 years old making sure her brother was cared for and keeping up in school. Nevertheless, they’ve always had a great relationship and are practically inseparable. Whenever their parents were there, they only made sure they were studying, doing extracurriculars, and not falling behind. They only seemed to love them or give them affection when they were succeeding. Now, Lucas is under even more pressure because their parents expect him to take over the family business since his older sister plans to become a Lawyer.
