I know it's been a while since my last project- I decided to wait until the end of the month to post art in one big project instead of a bunch o' little ones. This was my first year doing ArtFight! It was a ton of fun and I'll definitely join next year if I can. Also! No longer am I using my school chromebook and my broken-in-half-and-taped-together stylus (Long story short, my Warriors books partnered with gravity and uh- stylus annihilation ensued) I've upgraded to a snazzy Huion Kamvas 13! 'Twas a late birthday present from my grandma. :)) It took a while to learn Krita (The interface is kinda jarring at first haha-) but eventually I got the groove of it! I'm still getting used to the change but it genuinely feels really nice? There's more space to draw on and the pen feels so much better (My stylus is basically a dry twig compared to the nice new pen ahdshjgdhj) So yeah!! That's cool B) Anywho onto the art akdjfkjdwflk »»————-　　————-«« Pre-drawing tablet + Traditional: 1. Paladin Iro! Drew this after watching Princess Mononoke for the first time in nine years (Definitely not a movie intended for 4 year olds, but at that age I would watch anything as long as it was animated haha) probably one of my favorite movies of all time, I gotta say Nonono the outfit was not at all inspired by that movie not at all /s 2. Drew this around March of last year! This is my roleplay character, Red. 3. Redrawn version! Definite improvement here, I'd say. The coloring looks streaky cuz of the paper I used :') 4. Experimental thing I did of Soren! Tried to paint digitally in Kleki. It kind of worked?? It's alright I guess 5. Zappy Nightspark! I was trying to make a shirt design but I dunno- I think it might be a bit too busy? 6. Same thing but DARKNESS 7. Wanted to draw Ika! Experimented a little bit with the water. It looks more like an ocean rather than a glob of water I guess, but it's still kinda cool! 8. July icon! Gave Nightspark goggles cuz s t e a m p u n k. I actually really like their fur colors and outfit in this one, so I might make them an alternate design or something I dunno 9. (ArtFight) Attack on Frosted-Galaxies! 10. The dude's supposed to be bobbing his head but I'm too lazy to code two frames of a thing so you'll just have to imagine that part haha This was actually really frustrating to make, but only because pixels make me angry grrrrr >:/ 24.
