A note to all the replyers: Hi! Thank's for all the support, responding and agreeing to my little rant. I can't answer to all your comments individually, I'll answer some that stray from what most of you all are writing, but I'll look at them all! Thank's again! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ (the link to the announcement and Q A + Battlefield at the bottom of rant) The Message: I don't really like the studio updates. I don't mean to be rude or offend anyone, I'm just sharing my thoughts as respectfully as I can. So, there are really only three things wrong with the new update. So, first of all, I like the new look. It looks cool, modern on scratch. But there's no way anymore to share my studio's with all my followers? There's no button so that you can press on your followers to invite them. So do I have to, every time I want my followers to see an announcement or something… do I have to look at their usernames, one by one, copy and paste and invite them to my studio? And second of all, the 25 replies per comment thread is absurd. Anyone who's made it past being a ‘New Scratcher’ has obviously communicated with more then just one other member of the Scratch Community. It makes no sense to do that. What about RP's? What about when people are having a serious discussion? You're basically banning RP's and ACTUAL discussions right now. People are talking with each other. They're connecting. That's what makes the community, people connecting on scratch. And if they're doing it one at a time, or just privately, then you shouldn't try to stop that from happening! Introverts love having private conversations with just one person, and now you're stopping them from doing this? Last but not least, it also makes no sense that managers other then the owner can't change the studio description, title, or thumbnail. What if the owner leaves scratch? What if something serious happens, and you need to tell people not to worry or something? There's so much more. And I know what you're response will be. But if a studio gets raided or destroyed, it's the owner's own fault for inviting and promoting everyone they see join their studio. And if the limit of managers is already put in place, that'll already stop these from happening. If it's not too much trouble, I wish (and many other Scratchers do to) you could change it back, or change those unnecessary precautions. Thank's for your time. New stuff: I actually feel like Scratch is being ruined. What are you gonna do next, ban new Scratchers from commenting? Delete all RP studios? The ST may have Scratch's best interests in heart, but it seem's more like you have whats easiest for the ST in heart. Don't report me, please, it's just an opinion ;-; You know what, screw that, idc. I don't like the new studio update. If i'm being to blunt about the whole dang thing, mute me, ban me, whatever. I want my message to get out, I don't care if I get destroyed for it. (is 'screw that' considered a 'bad word' for scratch?? lol idk--) And nothing against how it looks. I think it looks great and modern. It's just how it was 'upgraded'. NEWEST INFO: The Scratch Cat recently came up with a response, finally (link to announcement at bottom), and here's my response to that. So, the says that... seriously? Apparently, Scratch was never meant for RP's, the ST doesn't care about it. Well, like I said earlier, RP's build friendship skills in many ways. When I made my first RP studio (Heroes; A RP), I made more then 5 friends out of that. We talked a lot, we RPed a lot, we really connected! And now we can't do that anymore, and the ST doesn't care because they didn't have the idea for RPs? And they're working on the manager situation. All the problems. All... of... the... problems. That's a lot to fix. Let's hope that they looked through all the comments are are seeing the cool idea's for what to do (and that I can have the invite followers button again, I don't know what to do without it lol) But basically, they're saying that they're "sorry" that our "text-based roleplaying" won't work anymore, and that they've toootally read all the comments, and that they're feelings get hurt at negative reviews, so they shut down commenting. If I wasn't acting so professional, in which I'm quite the opposite, but yeah... if I wasn't ACTING for professional, I'd say only one word: "Bruh." Because they're saying they don't care about our "text-based roleplaying" just because THEY weren't the one's who created it. And more that I can't talk about cuz this is getting waaaay too long... I legit can't write more n o w . Thank's for reading. :D Links: Original Announcement: Q, A, and (past) battlefield: New Announcement from ScratchCat: .0StudiosAgain (Add this to your studios if you want!)
