Okay, I'm going to try not to rant too much here. I'm certain that isn't going to help, and I doubt it'd change anything. Though, briefly, let it be known that I highly disapprove of the changes to the studios. But I'd rather talk about something that the Scratch Community can do to deal with these changes until they are fixed, if ever. Primarily, about roleplaying. Roleplaying in studios is practically impossible now, due to the 25-comment limit. Considering many of the RPs I did when I was more active here have been thousands of comments long, that's next to impossible. But there is a way to keep the RPs alive, since I know that's going to be something important to a lot of Scratchers. It was my life on Scratch for a long time. And that's profiles. Have the most active manager of whatever studio you're in make an alt account, specifically for the roleplay. Have everything you do on the studio moved to there. Profile comment chains, at least as of yet, have no limit, so you can roleplay there just as you would in a studio. For announcements, character lists, and character bios, those can all be projects / remixes of projects on the account. The person who made the account never has to check their messages and can ignore the account for the most part unless they have an announcement project to make. It won't be easy to transfer everything over, and it's even more frustrating that most of your long RP lines on your studios may be lost or hard to access. But it'll save your RP for a little while longer. Personally, I'm somewhat relieved I drifted away from all the bigger RP studios before this happened, and mostly RP on other platforms. I only had to move a few personal lines with a close friend to our own accounts. But I remember how important RPing was for me when I was more involved, and I want to help advise people on options to manage it so you don't have to lose the RPs you know and love.
