You are a traveller who has come across a mountain. You decide to take shelter in a cave there, not knowing what lies inside. You must escape the dragon through abandoned mines and torchlit hallways, finally arriving at the dragon's hoard of gold. Use the arrow keys to move Avoid fireballs, waves of fire the dragon breathes and pits of fire. Collect the dragon's scales to weaken the dragon Boneworms will take the scales from you so avoid those. There are 5 levels and you progress to the next one after you get the amount of scales shown and the music for that level ends There are 3 modes: Easy (you are invincible), Normal and Extreme where you only have 1 life.
Your hitbox is around your feet, and the fireball hitbox is the fireball's shadow (this makes it look slightly 3D) so DON'T LET THE AREA AROUND YOUR FEET TOUCH the SHADOW of the FIREBALL. This is best played with the sound on. You might not have noticed the torches flicker in time to the music. I did all the coding, art and sound effects by myself but I didn't do the menu music or the music in the game which is In the Hall of the Mountain King by Edvard Grieg. Made in 1 (stressful and coding packed) week Unfortunately there was a lack of playtesting and the project is extremely hard. (please use invincible mode to see the full art of the project). Thanks to @Bird451 for much-appreciated playtesting (they got to level 4!) and helping me fix bugs during gameplay. Update Log: 1.0 Game Released 1.1 Bug fixed where the scale was impossible to collect without dying in level 3. Another bug fixed where 2 fireballs were appearing in level 4 instead of 1. 1.2 Sound effects added for when a boneworm is touched. 1.3 General Bug Fixes: The introduction has the 'out of' variable set to 0 instead of 10; the pits of fire now show up on the death animation in level 3 unlike before; both fireballs now always come on level 5 and after each level/death the dragon appears in the middle of the screen. 1.4 Added thumbnail #games #:)
