this is a animal crossing murder mystery story! just so you know, you don’t need to know a thing about animal crossing to read this! basically, a random amount of animal crossing villagers get transported to a abandoned café, inhabited by a coffee-making pigeon named brewster, a blank-faced musician named k.k. slider, and a money-hungry raccoon named tom nook. one of the villagers is the murderer, and the rest are the survivors. the first one to pay 6 million bells (bells is animal crossing’s currency) to tom nook will be the one leaving alive. tw: there will be romance and murder. character introduction: 1. rocket info: a casual and friendly gorilla that isn’t very liked by the others because of her appearance. she could be described as “sisterly.” 2. coach info: a “former gym teacher” that is athletic and incredibly annoying. nobody really likes him. he is a bull. 3. rex info: a lazy lion who loves snacks and bugs. he’s super chill, which makes him likeable. 4. chevre info: a goat who’s super sweet and well-read. she loves books and making friends. 5. pinky info: a panda who wants to be a popstar. she’s super peppy and loves to sing songs. 6. annalisa info: a sweet anteater who’s embraced her japanese ancestors. she reads books and loves gumdrops. 7. tia info: a sweet elephant who dabbles in the punk style every so often. she’s kinda fancy, loves coffee, loves books, and is interested in starting a bookclub. 8. octavian info: a cranky octopus who’s kinda hard to like. he’s practically stuck in the 70s mentally and his face is just….eh. 9. zucker info: a lazy octopus who loves snacks. he’s good friends with rex and kinda sees octavian as a father figure. 10. cheri info: a bear who wants to be a popstar. she’s super peppy, like pinky, and she spends most of her time watching or talking about a show called maglevs in love. 11. chrissy info: a bunny who’s peppy and is a pop star. she’s produced one song with k.k. slider and her sister, and it’s called bubblegum k.k. she’s practically never unhappy and is overwhelmingly positive. 12. francine info: a bunny who’s super snobby and is a pop star. she’s chrissy’s older sister, and she helped produce bubblegum k.k. with her sister and k.k. slider. she loves makeup. 1. it begins suddenly, everyone collectively woke up in what looked to be a really dirty wood room. the first one to speak was coach. “CRAP! I DIDN’T WAKE UP IN A GYM!” he yelled. “oh my…would you please quiet down, gumdrop? we all just woke up and we need a second to get…hmmm…..how do i put this…fully..waken….up?” annalisa replied. everyone nodded in agreement with annalisa, and coach said “fine, you weaklings. you aren’t as fit as me, so that’s why you need to get fully waken up! strong bulls like me have big muscles and thick abs-“ “we get it.” rocket sighed, interrupting coach. “where’s the mayor? and where’s the island we know and love, la baa?” chevre asked worriedly. “oh, there’s nothing to worry about, teacup. the mayor’s probably a few rooms over, looking for us.” tia answered, hoping to comfort chevre. “yeah, y-you’re probably right, la baa.” chevre replied. “HEY! hey guys! i found a note!” chrissy exclaimed, jumping up with a piece of paper in her hand. “let me see it.” francine said, yanking the paper out of chrissy’s hand. chrissy frowned. “the paper simply says ‘when you wake up, please wait a few minutes, as i will not be there immediately. -brewster.’” francine read confidently after being silent for a few seconds. “well, in that case, let’s just wait.” octavian stated. after a minute of pure silence and just sitting (or in chrissy’s case, standing) still, pinky decided they should play a game of truth or dare to pass the time. octavian decided to not play. pinky started the game off. “chrissy, truth or dare?” pinky asked. “truth.” chrissy answered. “do you hate francine?” pinky asked. “kin-no. NO. i love my sister, sparkles.” chrissy answered. “you sureee?” pinky asked, slightly annoying chrissy. “yeah.” chrissy answered. “you don’t sound sure.” pinky said, annoying chrissy even more. “i’m sure, ok? i don’t like to get angry, so stop bothering me about it.” chrissy asked politely. “fineeeeeee.” pinky groaned. “well, it’s good to know you love me, karat.” francine happily said. “well, why wouldn’t she?” rocket asked. “….for several reasons.” francine muttered in reply. suddenly, the 12 of them began to hear footsteps coming from the dark hallway leading to their room. chevre gasped. “mayor, is that you?” she asked. she received no response. the one who was walking through the hallway was brewster, as they found out when he walked in. “welcome.” he simply said.
