Click that green flag (twice) and enjoy the show! The details of the making of the song are below if you want to read as you listen! Disclaimer: This is an instrumental song. It is not really a game or animation. The entire song is a little less then 5 minutes, so if this isn't your type of thing, you might want to check out my games instead. Also don't do full screen or the graphics get way bad
Please give credit to @-EndlessCoding- if you use any part of this song for anything. If you do, post the link in the comments so I can check it out! Sorry about the sound quality, the software is MIDI and I don't have a full orchestra on hand to play for me (that would be epic though). This song is an original song made by me using a composition software called Finale. The images, gifs, and art were found from various sources on google from adventure movies and games such as Lord of the Rings, Ori and the Blind Forest, and Legend of Zelda. The images are kind of rushed and the sliding and zooming animations are low quality (sorry but that's not my strongest area of scratch). The music includes the following instruments: Piccolo, Flute (2p), Oboe, Bb Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Bassoon, Horn in F, Trumpet in C (2p), Trombone (2p), Tuba, Timpani, Crash Cymbals, Suspended Cymbal, Gong, Bass Drum, Bells, Chimes, Snare Drum, Violin (2p), Viola, Cello, and Contrabass. (now that's an orchestra!) I don't know exactly how long this took me to make, but I do know it took a v e r y l o n g t i m e . This is my first real try at Finale, and it took a while to figure out. And composing all those parts did not go quick either. There were also lots of sections of the song I took out. I found it was easy to keep writing and writing and writing. If I left all the parts in, the song would probably be double the length. But I am happy with how it turned out. It feels complete and I don't think it's drawn out too much. The idea of the song was to summarize the plot of many adventure books, movies, and video games. The beginning represents the start, where the characters are excited about their quest for treasure, glory, and so on. But there is always trouble on the road. They often run into monsters, enemy ambushes, or other travel troubles. As the song goes on, it gets more sad and dark. This is the point where the characters have lost almost all hope. They have lost friends and made hard decisions. The hobbits are stuck in mordor, Zelda has been captured, the wise old mentor has died, etc. All seems lost, but they must press on. Then comes the boss fight. I really wanted to create a sense of urgency and determination in this part of the song. Then at the very end of the song, the hero makes the final move. The hero stands triumphant, and the adventure, or at least that part of it, comes to an end. Thank you for listening! I hope you enjoyed it. Tell me your thoughts in the comments. I really want to see what type of impression this makes on you guys. I may post more music on scratch in the future. Thanks again! :D :D :D
