We all know that sadly, unfortunate things happen to non-white people, but how did this develop? Let’s take a look. TimeMachine.com/caveman-era/ is loading …. First, let’s go back to when things were simple. Let’s say there’s 7 families, One each fitted with 5 members. 2 families have black hair and pale skin, 3 families have blonde hair and pale skin, and 2 families have dark brown hair and dark brown skin. Each family is fighting for food and land, but of course, none trust each other. They only trust one of their own kind, no common language is spoken, so the only way to tell is by the colour of skin & hair. The whites realise that they outnumber the other families and have nothing to lose, and with that they begin to start buIIying the other families, however the other families don’t trust each other either, so they both bully each other for the remaining land. Over time it becomes natural, and so, they each teach their children the same thing, don’t trust anyone but your own race. Fast forward like thousands of years, there’s a war raging, and now, anyone who looks remotely like the enemy is considered the enemy. Some people start realizing that this is wrong and begin to protest, but are shut down with threats, so the scared protesters stay back. During the first world war, I think the instincts came back extremely strong, because after the war, it was chaos. Black people were being hurt and worse just for simply breathing, even the ones who took a stand were hurt. While this was happening, Asians accross many places were being imprisoned, especially the Japanese, despite them having lived in America their whole life, they were classified as “Aliens”. And once again, those who dared to take a stand were hurt, or worse. At this point, racism had fully developed, and now, people were begging others to stop. There’s also Indigenous racism, however, that topic is large, and that alone deserves it’s own project. Let’s go to where we are now, 2021. Blacks were kiIIed just walking in the streets, and so where Asians. Asians were (and still are) being blamed for the pandemic, and Blacks were harassed by the very people supposed to protect them. The world is a messed up place right now, and it’s really hard to fight for what’s right, but I believe if we all reach down into our hearts and stand up for those who are being wrongly accused and harrassed, then that alone can make a change. Thank you for reading this and my theory on how it all started. ~Natty
