By the Sea | A poem ā The sun sets over sea I feel a gentle breeze drift through my hair The waves crash down at the shore I sit atop this grassy hill By the sea With the setting sun shining on me I get lost in the beauty The beauty flows deep through me As I pick small flowers from within the grass I see the town down below Slightly to the east Across the harbor and her waves The beauty of the mind Fore it is in the mind what I see The beauty by the sea The sadness is in the truth That this is where I must go Fore in this world I seldom see the beauty A better world is up there Than the one before me That is why I go there To the hill By the Sea
