Heyo! So, as much as I draw big, scary monsters, I never had one to represent myself. So, here's my big Monster!Sona, 'The Freak'! I /love/ how she looks like a terrifying monster, but in reality she's just a giant Mom Friend and the worst she'll do it bite off your hand if you put it too close to her face. Her design is a /GIANT/ metaphor for 'introvert that pretends not to care what people think, but actually does' Design inspirations: -I like cats, so I gave her a cat-like body structure. -Her face shape is actually inspired by a Young White Dragon DnD blank mini I got for Christmas and painted up not long before I made the freak. It was sitting on my shelf and I though the overly-pointed face was cool. -Her overly pale complextion is inspired by my own. Funfact: I'm so pale from lack of sun I get mistaken for being enimic(or having a lack of red blood cells). In reality, I just hate going outside. Other notes: -She's like a cat in both behavior and personality, but even more flexible -The blue-tipped appendages coming off her chin act as stalk eyes, as seen on a snail or slug. She folds them back to her jawline to 'narrow' them. They are not retractable, and do not have eyelids. To keep them moist, she will lick them, like a gecko. -She has human-like hands, complete with opposable thumbs. -The tusks at the corners of her mouth are mostly used for intimidation, but are usuable as weapons, tho 'Freak' is unlikely to use them due to the desire to be left alone. Now looking at her, I realize she both resembles my other Main Sona, Musha, and the Indominus Rex. While her posture makes her look like the beta!White Indoraptor. The spines on her neck /do not/ help with the JW comparisons. Fun fact: I did not, and still do not care for Fallen Kingdom as it was anticlimactic and the Indoraptor went down too easy for being as inteligent as it supposedly is. Plus the lack of carnage that I'm used to with the JP films was disappointing. Materials used: -Copy paper -#2 pencil -White acrylic paint -Pink, Purple, Blue Watercolors(pink for body blushing, purple for deepening eye sockets. Blue for 'eyes') I did the painting traditionally, then took her into Photoshop to overlay the vein texture cause you can't pay me to do that by hand!
