Watch and be amazed I guess... :P To people attempting to do this in a flight sim, or more specifically in GeoFS, use the SU-35 or some super maneuverable fighter jet. It is honestly quite hard and took me many tries to do it. Fly at low-medium speed in level flight before pushing the throttle to full and pulling up. After you hit a 90 degrees angle of attack, nose down and continue in level flight. There should be little or no change in altitude.
Not exactly a proper cobra. From Wikipedia: In aerobatics, the Cobra maneuver is a dramatic and demanding maneuver in which an airplane flying at a moderate speed suddenly raises the nose momentarily to the vertical position and slightly beyond vertical with an extremely high angle of attack, momentarily stalling the plane and making it a full-body air brake, before dropping it back to normal, during which the aircraft does not change effective altitude.
