• • • Story • • • After getting kicked out of so many jobs there is only one left; lumberjacking! It's a very dangerous job and there is a 4 year old kid who's always watching you but the pay is pretty good. Also the kid's parents keep setting out bear traps because there are a lot of bears in the forest. • • • Controls: • • • Click the controls button to change the controls and click the arrows on the sides of the bottom of the control screen to choose your control type. Use control settings that begin with "Keyboard:" if your device is connected to a keyboard and use the control settings that begin with "Tablet:" if your device is not connected to a keyboard. - In the first control type (Keyboard: Default) click to swing your axe, use the arrow keys or W, A, S, D to move and space to jump. - In the second control type (Keyboard: Buttons) press the space key to swing your axe, use arrow keys or W, A, S, D to move and the E or B key to jump. - In the third and fourth control type (Tablet: Default and Tablet: Parkourist) tap and hold the arrow buttons to move, click the button with the big arrow on it to jump and click the button with the axe on it to swing your axe. • • • Interaction • • • If you see a little boy, he will start talking and give you a challenge. Press the green check mark button to accept it or the red X button to deny it. If you deny the boy's challenge he will still come back later. - Bears: Bears will try to kill you. Swing your axe at a bear to hurt it. If you jump you will avoid bear's attacks (try not to jump into a tree though; it will hurt you). - Money: If you hit a tree enough times with your axe you will get some logs. Convert that into money by standing in the sell logs area. Spend your money by clicking the destroy stumps button which destroys every single stump visible or walk to the buy upgrades area and buy whatever upgrade you want. - Death: When you die you keep all your upgrades that you bought but you lose your logs and money. • • • Tree types • • • There are six different tree types. Each tree type is different. - The first tree type is the normal tree which takes five swings of the axe to chop without any strength upgrades and gives you five logs when you chop it. -The second tree type is the alien tree which is the same as the normal tree but every once in a while it teleports to a random location. -The third tree type is the ghost tree which is the same as the normal tree except it disappears and re-appears every so often. - The fourth tree type is the tuff tree which takes ten swings of the axe to chop without any strength upgrades and gives you fifteen logs when you chop it. - The fifth tree type is the inverted tree which is the same as the normal tree but it takes away five logs when you chop it and constantly flickers from being upside-down and right side up again and will disappear if you buy the destroy logs button. - The sixth and final tree type is the golden tree which is the same as the normal tree except it has a lower chance of spawning than any other tree and gives you twenty dollars when you chop it instead of five logs. • • • Retro sounds • • • I added an easter egg for players with a keyboard connected to their device where if you press the R key it will turn on retro sounds which means most of the sound effects and music will be changed to music, jingles and beeps from NES games made by Nintendo. • • • Mama Bear Boss Fight • • • After defeating three bears, instead of a fourth bear spawning there will be a mama bear. The mama bear will go through various stages that I will not spoil for you. To damage her hit her with your axe at any time or lead her into a bear trap. Both attack methods deal twenty five damage to the mama bear. Boss fight will end when either the mama bear or you die. If the mama bear dies you will get a thousand dollars. • • • Goal • • • There is no real goal except to have fun (and also heart and star the game).
