Being non-rhotic is different than having rhotacism. Non-rhotic means that you don't say all of your r's, wheras having rhotacism means that you say none of your r's and sound like Elmer Fudd. 'Be vewy, vewy quiet!' Most citisens of the UK are non rhotic. I would say the word 'rhotic' as row-tic.
