Click the green flag. Press the space key. A white background will appear, that's your canvas. Press s to open up the settings and create the colors you want. Press b to exit the settings. Press e if you want to erase and remember to adjust the size, because it could ruin your whole drawing!!! Open up the settings to change the color again.
