Gosh, guys, so sorry this took so long, like wow I made you wait practically forever, my deepest, sincerest apologies, I really tried my hardest to get it to you as fast as possible but sometimes these things just don't work out The fact that there is a TAG VIII has driven Peril, like any normal person, to insanity and nutella. (i was gonna redo all the animation in this but i'm lazy so enjoy the low-quality-ness) Anyways, welcome to Chapter 1, if you got in you should already know because I should have already invited you to the studio. If you didn't get in, don't murder me, ok? :D There's always next TAG. I was originally going to put the OCs of all top 16 into this animation, but I had no idea which ones to use for a half of you guys and I couldn't ask because that would've been o b v i o u s so i'll just put you guys in the NEXT chapter OK SO BEFORE YOU LOOK AT THE SCORES, YOU SHOULD KNOW HOW I GRADED THE ENTRIES. First off, I watched through the entry to see if there was any ACTUAL ANIMATION. Having a frame in which the character's arm is down, than having a wait 1 second block, then showing a frame where the character's arm is straight up is NOT ANIMATION, PEOPLE. tHaT's cAllEd a pMv aNd tHat'S nOt wHaT tAg'S lOokInG fOr. Then, if there was animation, I looked closely at it to see how smooth it was. If it wasn't very smooth, I labeled it as "choppy". If it was very smooth, you probably got a high score. After that, I looked at the art and designs, but really the animation matters more to me than the art, so even if you used pretty basic characters, if you animated them nicely, then you probably got a high score. The people who had both stunning art and stunning animation, however, probably got higher than you. Finally, I looked to see if there was any really cool animation effects in your entry, and if you pulled them off well. Things I define as "animation effects" include perspective changes, explosions, motion blurs, and a lot of other things (mostly things I have an extremely hard time doing xD). If your animation had any of these, and if they were done well, I gave you more points, because I classify all these effects as "hard to do well". Make sense? Ok, if you read through all that, the scores are in the link in the first sprite. ;) also, don't accuse me of rushing through the grading process, i've actually been grading the entries throughout the course of the round and have spent the last two days going through them all again to make sure I didn't miss anything
