Big day tomorrow..... “ Lightning said. “ Yeah, your totally right........ big studying and the gala....... “ Meg replied. The two smiled at each other one last time before starting to get their stuff together for bed. Meanwhile...... “ ~~~ Chapter 18 : Another Side ....... outside the academy gates, stood a dark grey female hedgehog with dark green eyes, dark green stripes on her spines, and a really edgy dark outfit to pull her entire appearance together. She was on her talking on her cell phone to someone on speaker phone. No one else was in the area to be listening because it was so late at night, so it was the perfect time to chat out in the open like this. “ So you ripped Lightning’s gala dress like I asked you, correct? “ Myla’s voice said over the stranger’s phone. “ Yep....... I snuck into her and Meg’s dorm while they were in class, took a knife and ripped the bottom area. “ the stranger spoke to Myla who was on the line. “ Good...... and Lightbulb better now find any ways to ruin my plan this time....... I need Lightning to miss tomorrow’s gala. No matter what happens. I know I put a spell on Ace, but who knows what that girl could be planning...... she could be onto me and figured out I used magic on him. Plus- I heard she’s doing a performance at the gala for extra credit on her grades because she missed last Tuesday’s choir practice thanks to my scheme of getting rid of her music sheets. The point is- she can’t go to the gala. “ Myla explained. “ Yeah yeah yeah- I get the picture, sis. “ the stranger spoke. “ Crystal- you know this isn’t just my plan, but it’s also what our father wants. He wants ME to get close to Ace- someday marry him and then Dad can get Ace’s parents’ riches. That money will change everything............. everyone on the globe will know who we are. Dad will spread his message of destruction world wide........ and nothing can go wrong. “ Myla said. Crystal sighed then replied, “ Your right....... and we can’t disappoint him...... “ . “ So let’s put aside out differences as sisters and complete the mission........ “ Myla said. “ And I’m guessing the mission is to get Lightning out of the academy so we can continue the big plan? “ Crystal asked, just to be sure she understood. " Yes- exactly....... " Myla quickly answered. " Alright, that's what I thought. " Crystal said back to her. " They should be already in bed by now....... so there's nothing else we need to worry about tonight. " Myla said. " Alright- I'll keep an eye on Lightning for you and call you tomorrow. " Crystal explained. " Alright, cya. " Myla said. Crystal didn't even bother to say goodbye and just hung up on her sister after her last word. Sighing, she scrolled through her contacts on her phone, selecting one that read " Dad " on it. She clicked on it gently then put the phone up to her ear off of speaker phone. "hello?..... " a male voice spoke from her device. " Dad......... Myla is trying her hardest to keep her cover as a student in World of Song Academy- but I honestly think she's gonna fail it now. " Crystal explained. " What makes you think this conclusion, Crystal? " the man asked. " Ever since this Lightning girl showed up in school- it's been highly difficult for Myla to keep her grip on Ace. She casted a spell on him the other day cause he started to fall for her a bit. I'm not sure how much longer Myla can pull this off........ and I'm not sure how much longer I CAN handle this. I have to go into the computer systems and up her grades constantly to keep her in the freaking academy. Without my help she would've blow the last few semesters because..... she's got NO talent for music whatsoever and you know that...... I should've been the one to tend the academy- I'd make a better cover...... the point is- as long as Lightning is in that school- there's no chance of us winning Ace over. " Crystal replied, sounding confident with her claim. " I see your point, Crystal. And most of that you said I can agree with you. Very well....... once the gala starts tomorrow night- find a way to get her out of there. " the man said. Crystal stood there for a moment, thinking about what she was asked to do. " Alright, father........ I have an idea that might do the trick. " Crystal explained. " That's my girl..... now go out there and do your thing. Friday morning awaits very soon..... " the man replied.-
