His father abandoned them before he was born. Soren’s mom never wanted to tell him that his father was “bad”, so she always told him that he was a prince that had to leave their family to protect the kingdom. Soren always believed her. He loved to go for walks in the park, but one day when he was coming back from a walk, he smelled smoke. When he got closer to his house, he learned that it had burned down with his mother still inside of it. He still doesn’t know if she is still alive. Terrified, Soren started to run. He ran for a long time. He knew where he had to go. To the castle of the royals of their kingdom. He needed to find his father, the prince. When he finally arrived at the castle, he learned that his father wasn’t there, but the guards there offered him a job as one of the newest guards. He accepted, because he didn’t have a home to go to. The king of Braxington was a big cat named Void. Soren learned after being a guard for a big part of his life that King Void was corrupting their kingdom and was going to destroy them all. So, in an act of desperation, he stole Void’s crown, and left the kingdom. Soren couldn’t go back, or else he would be k^lled. So he kept on walking. He walked for many months. When he had given up all hope, he found a group of other outcasts. They accepted him into their group. Soren was the youngest of the group, only 12 (in human years). The oldest outcast, a big male cat named Hornet, was 22 (in human years again lol) Hornet gave Soren the nickname King, because of the crown that he stole. Art: 1.
