Yesterday my best friends moved to different cities. I bet they cried really hard about leaving because the next morning we facetimed and they both had puffy eyes and looked miserable. And, my least favorite person, James Puckle, got 5 puppies from a shelter. I was so jealous! I hurried over to him and asked if I could be a babysitter, and he said no!! How can he!? So the next morning stories were flying around the school that I tried to steal James's favorite dog, Seigneur. I got in trouble about the rumors about Seigneur so my teacher, Ms. Grey sent me to the principal. So unfair! I tried to tell him the truth but he didn't believe me! Suddenly, parties of students, led by James, were crowding the office! "Gimme your pennies, Amara Johnson!" A dark haired boy in the back said. "I don't even have any'' I said. I dig in my pockets and pull out a small teal colored penny. "Here you go! It's my only one!" I said and I threw it at him. Unfortunately, he catches it. "Luke! Stop being so greedy!" James shouts. Ms. Grey suddenly walks into the room, "Everyone but Ms. Johnson step OUT!" She shouts the word out. Once everyone leaves, Ms. Grey tells me that she believes me and she will convince the principal better than I will and that I can now leave the school. When I got home I told my mom who had bought me some fried parsnips to snack on in the car about what happened at school. "That horrible, hon'' She says. "Stop! Don't eat that Alexa!" At first she was talking to me and then she talked to the 1 of the 2 babies in the car, Alexa and Zahara, my 2 younger sisters. Outside the window I spied some very pretty ponies out on our country's only grassland. I spotted one of our 60 libraries and I know that is where I want to go. Once we got to the library, I saw a lady with a bunch of files that I guessed were for people’s library books and when they should turn them in. The quietness was nice and the cool breeze coming from the open window was not even the best part, the best part was that sitting just a few feet away from me was James Puckle, studying hard for his math test while I had already passed it, he had failed and had to take it again! James hated the library and I was overjoyed he had to spend his time here all afternoon while I can do whatever I want!
