Heck- I haven’t seen her all evening. “ Cia said. “ That’s weird...... because I’m pretty sure I saw her outside the doors waiting with the others while we did last minute touches to the decorations. “ Spade explained. “ Huh...... that is weird...... maybe she forgot something? I dunno........ I suggest asking her roommate- Meg the Hedgehog. “ Cia said. “ If it gets around ten minutes and she doesn’t show up, I’ll do that. “ Spade responded. Cia nodded at him before walking off. “ Heyyyyy, I see everything’s all set up....... you guys did a good job setting up. “ a female voice called. “ ....... Dawn? “ Spade started to say, looking over and noticing his close friend. “ ...... I thought you said you had something to do this evening. “ Spade finished. “ Eh-heh....... Spade nodded with a smile before walking off. Back in the strange cave like tunnels, Lightning was still going down the same path, following the light that she believed would lead her to the ticket of finding her way out. “ You do realize that in less than an hour the spell will be trapped on Ace forever right?...... So it doesn’t really matter if you find your way out of here........ “ the male voice spoke once more. “ ....... w-what?! “ Lightning said in a worried tone. A second later she noticed a small crack in the ceiling of the cave with a beam of light streaming through. She spread her wings and fluttered up to it and squeezed with all her might through the small hole. In shock to see the hole leaded to the inside of the academy, Lightning shrugged and ran towards the event room. “ Only an hour left?..... ehhhhh I have to do my performance...... and fast. “ Lightning thought to herself, running as fast as she could and the hole that she went through previously suddenly closed and vanished like nothing was ever there. Spade glanced around the room, looking for Lighting but no sign of her. He was feeling the slightest bit worried for her. “ I wonder if she’s gonna make it...... perhaps I should ask Meg like Cia suggested if she knows where Lightning is. “ Spade thought to himself. “ Meg......? “ Spade said, slowly approaching her and the male hedgehog with dark blue and black spines with neon green highlights and dark green eyes wearing formal clothes for the gala. Meg glanced over at Spade and away from her date. “ Yeah?..... your Spade right? Lightning’s teacher? “ Meg questioned. “ Yes I am...... eh-heh. But that’s the thing- I was wondering if you have seen Lightning?
