Amaya・Ref Sheet ------------------------------♥---------------------------- I figured I might as well make her a ref sheet so uh- oN wiTh tHe bAckStoRy ------------------------------♥---------------------------- Amaya was born in the village, and Snow in the woods. Snow only really came to the village with her mom to buy food and such; but often, she would just stay home with her sister. One day Snow and her family went to village, that same day Amaya and her parents were also getting groceries. Soon they had run into each other. Despite Amaya being a few years younger, they became fast friends. After that, Snow would come to village whenever she had the chance. After a few months, Amaya's parents had let her come home with Snow. She ran to catch up, as they had already started leaving. Amaya spent the rest if the day with Snow, and in the late afternoon her parents came to pick her up. From then on, Snow would come to the village every day, she would always come back with Amaya trailing behind her. Snow had to walk Amaya to her house, because her parents weren't too fond of their six-year-old daughter walking through the woods alone. Of course at the time Amaya was too young to realize how she felt about Snow. When she was at home, she would spend hours staring into space thinking about Snow. She would often even fantasize about kissing her. Snow had come to get Amaya everyday for almost four years now. Amaya's imagination would interrupt her thoughts even more often now, however she had grown to a point where she could burst out crying that she shouldn't be feeling this. Amaya was born into family that was kind of homophobic. So she had tried her best to keep this a secret, but her parents were suspicious. And one day, Amaya said too much. I won't go into too much detail here, but after that, Amaya would rarely leave her room. She longed for Snow to come knocking at her door. Amaya's parents were tempted to stop allowing Amaya to see Snow. That maybe if they were isolated from each other for a little bit, Amaya might just forget. That maybe they could convince her that it was just a phase. But after all, Snow was one of the only reasons Amaya would leave her room. And the only thing that really made her happy. Of course, her parents still wanted her to be happy, right? One day Snow didn't come. It was getting late, and Amaya was loosing hope that her friend would come. Amaya forced the thought into her her head that she was probably just sick. But still, she worried. The next day, Amaya sat in her bed staring out the window, thinking. Thinking about Snow, how she longed to see her, to be wrapped up in her warm embrace. That was the only place she felt safe. She wanted to cry. But the tears wouldn't come. Snow was just sick, right? She'd come and take her away from all this. Amaya collapsed onto her bed, and let out a long sigh. Snow had to come tomorrow. She /had/ to. And then, the fantasies came back. A tear rolled down her cheek. "Amaya..." she muttered, "you know that she'll never feel the same way about you. Besides, you're just mistaking a good friendship for a crush. You can't really feel like this." Meanwhile, her parents were kind of glad that they wouldn't be the ones who would have to seperate them. On the other hand, though, they hated to see their daughter like this. They just wanted her to be happy. A week had passed, there was still no sign of Snow. Amaya was having mental breakdowns daily now. She wouldn't even leave her room to eat. She was constantly thinking about Snow, how pretty she looked, how much she longed to see her again. How much she wanted to see her smile, that soft laughter. Amaya almost got up and walked to her house right then and there, but she couldn't. She couldn't get up, she didn't have the motivation. Besides, even if she did, she doubted that her parents would let their ten year old daughter walk through the woods alone... Almost two months, Amaya was almost completely sure that Snow wouldn't come. She could've just forgotten about her, right? Amaya's parents were thinking about making her go to a public school, or at least some camp or something so she would would at least get out of bed for once. Amaya didn't want to go. She only wanted one thing. She parents had told her if she wanted to see if Snow was there, she had to give herself. They knew she wouldn't. A month later, school had started. She wouldn't talk, she would never answer a question. Amaya just sat at her desk staring out the window. Whenever a teacher asked her if she was okay, she would break down sobbing. No one would talk to her, for a long time. It took months before someone decided to say something to her. She was white cat, with some grey stripes and spots. Sher name was Pebble. Soon enough they became friends. Amaya began to look forward to going to school. Everyday she would gain back some motivation. (Cont.)
However, Pebble's other friends began to bully her. Sometimes Amaya would burst out screaming. She was too stressed for her age, but unfortunately there wasn't much she could do about it. Of course for years after Snow had stopped coming, Amaya would still occasionally think about her. But as time passed her memories faded. She was too distracted by other things to keep fantasizing about this girl she hadn't seen in years. Time went on, and Amaya stopped thinking about Snow almost all together. Of course she would always have the occasional thoughts, but never in the same way she used to. Years had passed, Amaya was sixteen now. She was lying in her bed one night, unable to sleep. Then she remembered. /Snow/. How exited she would get when She would come knocking on her door. Sprinting down the stairs and ripping open the door only to give Snow a massive hug. Amaya had lost most of her hope, but for some reason something inside her said that maybe, just maybe. She might see Snow again. So she decided, that tomorrow, she would go take a walk in the woods towards Snow's house. Maybe she'd pick some flowers or something. The next day she skipped school. Half of her regretted it, but she knew that if she did go, by the time it was over there wouldn't be enough daylight left for her to go walking in the woods. Amaya had been walking in the woods for awhile, when suddenly someone had ran into her, and hugged her. Amaya hadn't even seen their face, but she knew who it was. She dropped everything, tears began to stream down her face. "Snow," she muttered. The cat pulled away from her, "No, Crow." After letting Amaya inside, Crow introduced her to everyone. There was Rain, who had let her live there and took care of her while she was still healing. Sage, who she had met at the lab, they became fast friends. And Neptune, whom she had also met at the lab, though she didn't like him quite as much. Then after that, Crow explained the real reason she had stopped coming. How she had accidentally killed her family, then passed out unconscious in the woods, only to wake up to Rain staring down at her. Then how she lived with him for a few years, and almost ended up killing him too. After that incident her lantern started to crack, and a year or two later, she let go, and went back to her old house. There she was kidnapped by some of the people working at the lab. How they had taken her right eye. And of course, how she escaped with Sage and Neptune, only to come back to Rain's. Amaya lived there, and was usually the one who would go to the village for supplies. She couldn't just stop seeing Pebble with no explanation whatsoever. She knew how hard that was. Amaya tried to avoid her parents as best she could, it was best they didn't know where she had disappeared to. Eventually though, Amaya found out she still had feelings for Crow. It was getting harder to talk to her then. After awhile she couldn't keep it a secret anymore. So Crow found out, and it turned out, she like Amaya back. ------------------------------♥---------------------------- I'm so sorry that was so long lol- I got into the mood there for a sec- It was really fun to write, alright?
