"We will send the medicine cats and the next deputies to retrieve the star flowers, each clan must have a suppy should this sickness be the same as the one from many many moons ago." Mothstar announced. "A good idea Mothstar. The next in lines should view this as an assessment of their skills." Darkstar replied. - At the Star Flower patch, morning after the gathering - "Heartpaw, lead us through." Spottedpelt said, looking at the deep pits. "Only small cats can make it through the safest path. Wait right here, we'll bring out the flowers." Heartpaw explained as she slid through the thisle bushes. Rainleaf, and the other three next deputy's slid through the bushes behind Heartpaw. A silver furred she cat stood in front of them, silver fur covering her right eye, her left was a silvery-blue and her fur was thick and well-groomed. "Why have you come into my territory?" She murmured. "We have come for the star flowers, we believe they can save sick cats." Rainleaf explained. "I am sorry, but the star flower isn't what you seek, but the flaming shadow is..." The she-cat said. "Lets get out of here." Hearpaw said, slidding through the thisle bushes. The other three next deputy's followed Heartpaw but Rainleaf stayed still. "Who are you?" Rainleaf asked. "I was once called Waterdrop, but I am now nothing more then Water now." The she-cat replied. "You were a warrior?" Rainleaf asked surprised. "Once, but I was falsely accused by my former leader of being a spy for the dark forest." Water replied. "Which clan are you from?" Rainleaf asked. "Waveclan, when Cherrystar was still clan leader." Water replied. "But Cherrystar was known as the nicest clan leader, she would never exile anyone." Rainleaf replied, shocked. "They say that because they would rather see her that way, in truth she was an evil cat. She tortured kits, forced apprentices into battle too early, and blamed her faithful warriors for her misdeeds and caused Waveclan to live in fear. Mothstar, then Mothflight, led a group including me and five others to defeat Cherrystar, she was killed and her misdeeds covered up. Her final words were 'I banished you Waterdrop, get out of my territory, you are no warrior.' Mothstar told me even though I had helped him, I was still banished by both Cherrystar and himself. I didn't understand, and he told me, with a sinister glint in his eye, 'Because you are a traitor' I've lived here, in the territory just out of reach of both my former clan and Iceclan territory, protecting the star flowers. Now you must leave, they will be looking for you." Water replied, dissappearing. Rainleaf lingered for a moment before she slid through the bushes to the others.
