Garnets Gone!” Almandine said, panicked. Cobble looked around to see if he could find Garnet. “She probably went to where the sound came from, let's go check it out,” He said, getting ready to follow the sound of the roar. Almandine went into flight first then Cobble followed her. . . . Garnet was surrounded by lights, the lights were dim and they were moving as if it was alive. All she heard were whispers, hissing, and growls. “Where am I?” Garnet demanded, trying to sound threatening. “You’re in our cave for guests,” said a mysterious female dragon, she sounded sweet, “I must know what you’re doing in the waveling territory though.” The dragon was a light blue color with small wings and a small crown embedded with blue jewels “I'm in the waveling territory? Are you a waveling? I thought wavelings were extinct though?” she said with excitement and a hint of confusion. The dim lights in the room went out and another one turned on, The room was lit up with a lamp and Garnet looked around then gasped with excitement. A female waveling stood in front of her, she looked younger than Garnet but from the books she read wavelings were known to be the smallest tribe on Fluorite. “Wavelings were not wiped out, the Rubylings forgot about the ones living in the reef's younge one,” the mysterious dragon looked down at Garnet, “I would just like to know why a young Rubyling like you is doing in our territory? I was told they were forbidden to come here.” “O-oh, Well um, I'm here with my friends, we wanted to explore!” Garnet said, looking up at her with a smile. “So that's who the other dragons are? Your friends?” She looked over at another waveling, “Sargent Eel go get the other two and bring them here.” . . . Almandine and Cobble descended to the ground, thinking they saw something move. “What do you think we saw?” she asked, looking at the thick, long vines that hang from the trees around them. Cobble shrugs, “Probably a wolf or wild boar based on our surroundings, might even be another dragon.” “Yeah, may-” Almandine was cut off as her mouth had suddenly been forced shut, she whipped her head around to look at Cobble but all she could see was black and the rustling in the bushes and leaves. Almandine was trying to wrap her mind around what just happened but she was too worried about Cobble and Garnet. Cobble heard whispers all around him, he couldn't see anything but he hoped Almandine was ok, he felt cold, wet talons on his warm scales. Do you think- No that's not possible, they were wiped out he thought as he heard a male voice, “We’re close to the base, I think we should take the ropes off, they don't do any good except to shut them up” he paused, “I highly doubt these guys are gonna talk “No, You heard Eels orders. We can’t let them see where we are taking them.” A soft female voice said with a snort, “If we did the queen might get upset.” “Yeah, it’s best not to, I wouldn’t want her majesty to get angry” The male voice responded. With every step Almandine and Cobble took, the sound of waves crashing against shore were getting louder. Where are we going? Almandine thought Who are these dragons? She knew it was too obvious she freaking out when she felt cold scales nudge her shoulder . . . A couple minutes later they were in a cold structure, they felt talons untying the ropes and the blindfolds. Garnet ran up to Almandine and Cobble and hugged them, “Hi guys!” she said cheerfully Cobble looked around, “Where are we Garnet?” Almandine and Cobble said in unison. Garnet looked at a small female dragon, “Can I tell them?” The small dragon nodded, “Well we are in the waveling ruins..” she said really excitedly, “And these dragons are the wavelings that survived the Red Wave!” Garnet squealed Cobble's eyes wided, “Really? So that's why the scales were colder than most dragons..” “That's also why they blind folded us, who’s the queen?” Almandine said, scooting closer to Cobble then sitting down. “I am” The small female dragon said, “I am Queen Atlantis, but you guys can just call me Atlantis.” Cobble looked at Almandine and nudged her with his wing, “Well I'm Cobble and this is Almandine,” he said looking at Atlantis, “And I see you already know Garnet.” Atlantis nodded. “She is quite energetic!” she smiles as Almandine scoots closer to Cobble, trying to make herself less noticeable, “Are you guys mates? You guys are quite close to not be mates.”
Almandine jumped up and pushed Cobble, blushing, “What No!” she hid her face. Cobble laughed a bit, “She sure wishes she was my mate, but her mother said She ‘Is not allowed to be mates with other tribes, let alone peasants like me’” He said, mimicking Queen Maroons, Almandine's mother, voice. “Ah, So you’re a princess?” Atlantis asked. Almandine nodded, “I hate it though, it's always ‘Eat like a lady’, ‘Act like a princess’, and my personal favorite ‘Dont talk to the low life dragonets like Cobble’” she rolled her eyes.
