Starting in 2018, the Pokémon Company has recognized August 10 as Slowpoke Day. As you all probably know, Slowpoke is my favorite Pokémon of all time. So, I'm very excited! I missed it last year because I was on a vacation, but this year, I will be celebrating a lot! I'll even make a Slowpoke cake!
Fun fact: In honor of Slowpoke, the Udon prefecture in Japan was renamed Yadon (Slowpoke's Japanese name). This prefecture decided August 10 is Slowpoke Day. They celebrate Slowpoke there all year round, so I bet they are as excited as I am! If I had my computer I'd probably be able to do something interactive with music and stuff, but I made this on my phone, I hope it's ok.
