Please read: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/645722366 Welcome to Mastermind on Scratch! The popular code-breaking board game is brought to you by @R_Ravenclaw, hope you enjoy it! (If you do, leave a <3, it's free) This game can be played on mobile, but it runs better on a laptop/PC. If the project is not working (it sometimes lags) click the green flag again. If you really enjoyed this project, suggest it to be featured! https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/28715018/comments ➊ CONCEPT ➊ - The objective is to correctly guess what a secret 4-colour code is. - After you make a guess, the game will tell you how close you were by returning two numbers - The number on the right (in blue) tells you how many of the colours you selected ARE in the code, but out of place - The number on the left (in red) tells you how many of the colours you selected ARE in the code AND in the correct place - Use this information to make a better guess next time. While there is an element of luck, it's important to think carefully about the numbers the game returned. - If you guess the code before you run out of rows, you win! - The code is randomly generated, so you can play as many times as you want :) ➋ OPTIONS ➋ - You can choose to play with 6 or 8 colours - You can choose to allow repetition in the game and the guesses - Try different combinations of these settings for different game experiences! - As of right now there is no way to turn the music and sound effects off, but you can always lower your device's volume if you want ➌ CONTROLS ➌ - Click the gear icon to adjust the settings - Click the question mark to go to the tutorial, then use the arrows at the bottom to navigate it - Click the green arrow to start the game - Start guessing from the bottom - Select a colour from the options at the top, if a colour is crossed out it means it's not available - Click on the circles on the board to paint them with the colour you just selected - Fill out the row, and when your guess is ready, click the green check on the bottom. You will then receive the corresponding feedback - Repeat for the next rows until you get the code right or run out of space ➍ CREDITS ➍ - Name and gameplay based on the popular board game Mastermind - Coding by me, - Settings icon by - All other graphics by me, - Music is 'Winter' by
