helloo! as my birthday is sometime this week (edit: as in past or future), i've finally created a meet the artist ✨ hope you enjoy! click to zoom in, space to go through the slides (mostly different versions and process) - not mobile friendly for the slides, sorry! <3 this took me like eight hours but it was worth it xD i'm quite proud of the result, especially the person (me lol) and background (cloudss i love clouds) ^^ i actually attempted a meet the artist back in... late last year, but it was never finished because it looked terrible xD i'm glad this one is at least somewhat better, hehe i kind of stopped drawing - digitally at least - during july because i had so many ongoing things that kept me way too busy, but picking it up feels nice! and onto my birthday - like starr said in her amazing photography project, it's a weird feeling - getting older xD a decade and a half? i wrote a little,, late-night reflection on it recently; so much has happened over the last year, both in the world and personally :0 most of it was quite cringy (as i said, late-night lol) but here's some of it if you're curious - Getting older makes me reflect on how time is fleeting: these moments aren’t forever, though I may wish for them to be. Throughout this year, I’ve had so many… moments – moments that transform into memories, moments that culminate in periods of time. I’ve seen a smoke-engulfed orange sky, watched the breeze ruffle little leaves; I’ve engaged (or not) in zoom classes too many to count, stepped onto the bright architecture of campus and made a friend; I’ve pounded my frustrations into black and white keys, spun stories accompanied by frantic brainstorming and Chopin nocturnes. Yes, time may be fleeting – but in it a treasure chest of memories overflow. (hehe i promise most of it isn't overly metaphorical and vague like that xD) but yeah!! that's all i have; hope you enjoyed reading ;D credits! it's late-ish and i can't be bothered to have one of those aesthetic descriptions lol - all art by me, of course - in procreate (procreate says i took 7 hours and 42 minutes, but it was more like 8.5 hours with very frustrating traditional sketching ^^' anatomy aa) - lettering + handwriting is also by me, as well as the snippet of writing xD - the zoom in code is by @colorsnatch; all other code by me - and to everyone who's supported me whilst being 14 ;D both here and irl! <3 that's all, i think :D no music either, eep - though i might put some in later if it really matters that much ^^'
