Minor flash warning, creepy undead warning Art, story, and characters by me Song by Nightcore Note: None of these characters are actually dragons, the main character (green) is my minecraft skin, they're all humans, I just didn't want to draw humans. After the ending I have a picture of her as a human. It's not enough to have two separate character worlds I also gotta give my Minecraft skin a tragic backstory Also I was planning to do the whole song and I still might but I wanna get this shared before I completely forget about it I also don't actually have a name for her but I'll call her Jade for now Anyway here's some story Decades ago, Jade was just another soldier in a grand army - one of the largest civilizations in all the nearby world. They lived surrounding an amethyst in which a spirit resided, bringing them good fortune and prosperous harvests. But eventually that would change when they caught word that something was... shifting. The monstrous creatures below the earth were starting to rise again. Undead rose from their graves, hiding and collecting in underground caverns with giant spiders and silent, deadly creepers. A scout reported to the army's general one day that they had seen huge collections of monsters approaching - they would attack as soon as the sun set. The general ordered everyone to prepare. Either they would wipe the monsters out, or the city and everyone inside would fall. One or the other. It wasn't worth the risk to Jade. She wanted a third option - evacuate everyone, to live another day. But the general wasn't hearing it, and just ordered her back to her post. Night fell. And the horde attacked. Despite the warnings, the army wasn't expecting anything like this. Hundreds, thousands of monsters rushed over the hills to attack, but without anything else the army could do, they charged. Jade, panicked, followed. Immediately, chaos raged over the battlefield. While fighting off a zombie, a creeper stalked up behind Jade and exploded, badly damaging her arm. This may have been a stroke of luck, however, pushing her away from the worst of the battle. The army was soon overrun, bodies littering the field. In shock from her injury, and seeing the carnage, Jade ran. The spirit of the amethyst, the one that had protected their civilization, watched this. The last survivor of the battle. A coward. But the only person left alive. The spirit put Jade in a coma, making her disappear from the world for years, to finally awake and return when the war had long since past, and monsters now ran rampant across the world. Her arm was now healed as a ghostly replacement from the spirit. The last survivor of their kingdom was now the spirit's only hope of keeping the civilization alive. But this wasn't just a method of survival. This was a curse. The coward soldier who ran from battle now wanders the planet, desperately rebuilding from the remains of the scattered and broken cities of the past, trying to survive amidst the monsters that destroyed her people, her armor fused to her skin in a permanent reminder of the city she abandoned.
