Edit 11/11/2021: wOw this is old. Why are you people still looking at it lol Hi! I wanted to do something quick for 800+, so here's a smol art process for you guys :D space/arrow keys/click 1. I always start with a circle, then draw something like a curved plus sign on it. In this case, it helps me decide what height the muzzle should be and where to put the eye. 2. The eye and muzzle 3. Floof and ears 4. The rest of the body :o 5. Lower opacity 6. WOOOOO LINE ART 7. The base color, which in this case is a dark orange 8. Patterns 9. Shading :0 I use different colors for shading based on the colors of the character. For more orangey colors, I like to use purple or magenta (I know it looks weird) 10. I set the layer blending mode to multiply 11. Lil bit of gaussian blur and lowered opacity 12. LIGHTING! Usually I use kind of a light yellowish color 13. I set the blending to add and then blur it and lower opacity 14. Extra lighting, I don't normally do this but hey, it seemed cool 15. I had no idea what to do with the background :T so here, have a random thing 16. Playing around with the watercolor brush 17. Gaussian blur and background details 18. White outline And we're done! I hope you like it, and have a good day/night :D
