Press left or right arrow key to view Information about the kernels used in different Nova OS versions: 1. Arcadia- The first kernel made by me. Actually long story short, I first started making Arcadia OS and not Nova OS. But it later got corrupted due to which I had to make Nova OS based on the same system codes and kernel. Arcadia is a really simple kernel and easy to modify. It was used for a long time in Nova OS 1.0, X and 3 Cupertino. 2. UIX: A simple, sleek and minimalist design and transition based kernel which did not last for a long time. It was unstable and was not enough to make a powerful and better OS. It was again made by me. It was only used in making Nova OS 4 and was only made since other previous of Nova OS 4 were too flat and was a bit unstable. 3. OS Base: This was made by @codoga. @codoga and I collaborated together and made Nova OS 5 on this kernel/ base due to which Nova OS 5 which was a lot more improved, better and stable than its predecessors. 4. Core: The Core kernel was used for making a short-lived Nova Core OS which was a bridge between Nova OS 5 and 6 and showed the improving Nova OS. 5. Yose: The Yose kernel is the current kernel being used. It is also made by me. Yose is a stable, fast and simple kernel easy to work on to make better and faster OSs. Yose is being used in making of Nova OS 6 and is used in Nova OS 1.0 Remastered.
