♥ HAPPY NATIONAL ANIMAL DAY! ♥ (Scoll down for instructions. Double click the green flag! Fullscreen is recommended! NOTE: THIS IS MY FIRST CLICKER GAME) ~ Hey, it's Astrid here back with another project (FINALLY lol). I made this project to celebrate National Animal Day (October 4th) and to raise marine life awareness AND as an early birthday gift for my friend @cs5066569 (her birthday is October 20th.) Sorry I haven't been posting anything in a while (I've been SUPER busy with school starting again and stuff.) This is my first clicker game, so your comments and suggestions will be very much appreciated! :) ~ Because of global warming, pollution, and littering, marine life are losing their homes. For more on how you can help the marine life out there, go to: https://www.tutordoctor.co.uk/blog/2020/may/5-things-kids-can-do-to-protect-the-oceans/ ~ INSTRUCTIONS: ♥ Most of the stuff is pretty self-explanatory, but basically, this project is about raising marine life awareness. 1 click = 1 marine life animal saved. ♥ First, choose a character for your clicker game using the arrows on the first page. If you wish to change your avatar, press the "Change Avatar" button. So far, all the animals I have are dolphins, orcas (aka killer whales), porpoises, octopi, and turtles. Hopefully, I'll add even more marine life avatars soon. :P ♥ You can get upgrades by going into the shop & buying them using your points. ♥ To get bonus points, you can also play the game (the gaming console icon.) However, keep in mind that the game DOES cost 100 points! ♥ In the game, you can help catch trash before it hits the ocean floor. You will have 1 minute. Every piece of trash you pick up is going to help you earn 5 points. Be careful not to catch any fish, though--they'll cause you to lose 20 ~ 50 points, depending on the color! (Red = -50 points Yellow = -30 White = -20) ♥ Click on the "SAVING OCEAN WILDLIFE" icon (the one with the dolphin jumping out of the water) to learn fun facts about the ocean & marine life. ♥ Hover above the "Extra Stats" to see the extra stuff (aka points per click and points per second.) ♥ And . . .
