kinda storytime idk but it’s several parts wait but I wrote the whole trip on my phone- UGHFJGHHGJT it’s ok day 1: our flight was 4 hours to the Istanbul airport in turkey um yuh then we went to the local street i forgot name if there’s cons to Istanbul then people drive in the middle of the street personal space doesn’t exist masks are an urban legend and the street tiles are crooked but it’s ok cause I had some good shawarma not really good but yeah and the ice cream I can’t compare it’s better than gelato smh day 2: we went to this place where there’s a museum abt the sultan of turkey (during Ottoman Empire) and there was literally everything the sultan has like 2 throne rooms 8 bathrooms 2 kitchens 3 giant tiled courtyards a giant dining room with more than 10 seats and literally a separate palace for female relatives (wives, sisters, and daughters) and there’s like 3 mosques (praying areas) and they’re b i g btw they’re called harems and no don’t come up to me with that anime definition I mean Islamic harems just areas restricted to public other than the sultans wives, sisters and daughters but I made a mistake more of my mom but yes we walked the whole way literally a dozen blocks and I was wearing sandals literally the worst thing to wear for long walks and we spent 5 hours outside and my foot peeled 3 times and we took a ferry to Bosporus (bos-for-us) it lasted an hour and a half but the way back to the hotel was kinda short but ngl it was painful
